F Jack Lynn, Notre Dame
Obviously Lynn is the most likely candidate to both make the roster and get real minutes in his Orlando City career given his draft status, and I do think he has a real shot to be an MLS player in Orlando. Lynn isn’t the most physically gifted player or an overly prolific goal scorer, but he has a lot of traits to like.
He’s good with the ball, he’s tough and he’s a clutch performer. In the few Notre Dame games I watched this year, I remember thinking this is a guy who can make a roster at the next level, even if he’s never a star performer. Especially given Orlando’s uncertainty up top, Lynn will have an excellent opportunity to make the team as a rookie and play a rotational role.
