Daniel Rios, Nashville SC
Rios has yet to flourish at the MLS level, but the Mexican is a proven goalscorer and good all-around No. 9. At the USL level, Rios scored 40 goals in 62 games, making him one of the top strikers in USL. He’s yet to shine for Nashville in MLS, scoring just five goals in 30 games, but there is clear talent there. In Orlando’s more attacking system, chances would be there for him to get goals. I doubt he’d ever become a 15+ goal scorer, but he could absolutely bag between eight and ten goals a season. He did just sign an extension with Nashville this offseason for one year plus a club option, but they have a glut of strikers, with Ake Loba, CJ Sapong and Ethan Zubak also on the books.
