2022 MLS Predictions: Eastern Conference

1. Philadelphia Union

I feel great about the Union. What's their weakness? Probably striker? Well, they still have Sergio Santos and Corey Burke, decent if underwhelming MLS players, plus they added Julian Carranza and Mikael Uhre as Designated Players. If one of those guys can be a 15+ goal scorer, the Union could win another Shield. Everywhere else on the team is stacked with either a good veteran, amazing academy kid or both.
