8. CF Montreal
Montreal is quietly a very good MLS team, but very good might not be good enough this season. The defense is rock solid and Djordje Mihailovic has become elite, but is that enough? The striker situation is uncertain with the oft-injured duo of Romell Quioto and Mason Toye set to lead the line. Neither have been consistent MLS goal scorers or consistently healthy. Montreal just might not have enough to get over the hump yet again.
