It's been a very Portland start to the season for the Timbers. Gio Saverese has them playing tough, defensive soccer and they've had just enough offensively, including set pieces, to get results. That changed last weekend in Dallas, however, when Jesus Ferreira and FC Dallas ripped them apart. Overall, though, a solid, if somewhat underwhelming, start to the year.
