It's now time to pick the team awards. For the sake of convenience, I'm only picking domestic trophies because odds are a Liga MX side will win both Leagues Cup and the Concacaf Champions League.

US Open Cup
Winner: Sporting Kansas City

The US Open Cup is one of the hardest trophies to predict in the world. Who would've picked Orlando to hoist it last season?

For that reason, I'm picking wildly on vibes and tabbing Sporting Kansas City as Open Cup champions. SKC has hoisted the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup four times in its history, but hasn't won any trophy since 2017. It just feels like Peter Vermes and company are due for some silverware.

Supporters' Shield
Winner: New York Red Bulls

The Red Bull system is built for regular season success. That's why New York has three Supporters' Shields in the last decade. This is the best RBNY team since the 2018 squad that took home the shield, and Struber's squad could be in line for another regular season crown.

The big question for this group is whether they can take home that elusive first MLS Cup.
