The Philadelphia Union narrowly missed out on one of the best seasons in MLS history. Philly lost the Supporters' Shield to Los Angeles FC on a tiebraker. LAFC doubled the damage with a heart-stopping win over the Union in a legendary MLS Cup Final.

Philly will be looking for revenge and brings back practically its entire team with a handful of key depth additions. The only thing keeping the Union off the top spot is a potential long run in the Concacaf Champions League.
