Chicago is the saddest team in MLS. It's not that the club isn't ambitous or it doesn't have talented players or coaches. The Fire have talent and money, but the pieces never fit together.

Swiss superstar Xherdan Shaqiri was a colossal disappointment in his first MLS season. Fellow Designated Player Jairo Torres did nothing after arriving from Liga MX. I hope Chicago figures it out, but it's hard to see the light.
