Montreal ended Orlando's season in the first round of the playoffs last season. Montreal also ended its own championship window a month later.

The Quebec-based club sold off three of its best players from last season and only replaced one of them. Their head coach left for another team in the conference. They're probably better than this, but it's hard to see that right now.
