Last season finish: 47 points; 7th in West, 14th in League; Lost in Opening Round
Player to watch: W Jefferson Savarino

I don't know why I bother picking RSL to finish near the bottom. Somehow, someway, an underwhelming Real Salt Lake team will sneak into the playoffs and give a cup contender all kinds of hell in the first round.

But boy is this team underwhelming. RSL has yet to really invest in the squad under its new ownership group, and will need dynamite years from Jefferson Savarino and Damir Kreilach to push for the postseason.
