Last season finish: 43 points; 9th in West, 17th in League
Player to watch: M Ryan Gauld

The Vancouver Whitecaps exploded onto the MLS scene in the back half of the 2021 season. Then-interim head coach Vanni Sartini helped springboard the 'Caps into the playoffs and the future looked bright in western Canada. Last season, Vancouver got off to the worst start in club history and even a strong second half performance wasn't enough to make the playoffs.

I hope Vancouver is good this season. This is a group that can be super fun to watch when everything clicks, but it's hard to predict the best case scenario given Vancouver's recent history.
