This is Michael Halliday's season. The Apopka, Florida, product is finally in line to earn the first meaningful minutes of his young career.

Orlando opted not to sign another right back after trading Ruan to DC United. That cleared the path for Halliday to earn the starting spot for Orlando City in MLS. Halliday started for the Lions in the final preseason game against the Revolution and already looked like a promising talent at right back.

He's shown glimpses of solid defense and technical solidity in limited moments already, and his skills could be on full display this season.
