Peruvian No. 1 Pedro Gallese signed a new contract to stay in Orlando through the 2024 season with an option for another year. "El Pulpo" has shown himself as one of the elite goalkeepers in MLS over his three-year career in purple.
Gallese is one of the highest profile 'keepers in the league. He's approaching a century of appearance for his country and has arguably the best highlight reels of any shot-stopper. The Peruvian won the MLS Save of the Year last year for his effort against Dom Dwyer in Atlanta.

Gallese's underlying numbers don't always match his impressive highlights or international pedigree, but the 32-year-old should be poised for another strong season between the sticks for Orlando City this campaign.
