3 Orlando City Players To Disappoint in 2022

Moutinho has been on the downslope since making the MLS is Back Best XI in 2020. Since that high water mark, the Portuguese defender has been ravaged with injuries and his form has yet to recover. When he's healthy, he's a top five left back in MLS. I don't know if he can ever be healthy. And even if he is, will he make a real impact?

Orlando's left back role has effectively become a third center back, limiting the ability to get up the field and overlap into dangerous areas. That isn't to say Moutinho isn't great in that role, but it does take away from a lot of his best abilities and limits his ceiling. I hope the former No. 1 overall pick can find his feet again, but 2022 could be another tough year for Moutinho.
