One of the most underrated forwards in the MLS, Orlando City's Ercan Kara has been at the forefront of the club's fifth-place start. The 26-year-old forward has been one of the most clinical forwards in the league, and has been the scoring leader of one of the best teams in the MLS.

Kara's performance has been one of the best in the MLS through the first 21 matches. The Austrian forward has 7 goals and 2 assists thus far. The 6'3 Kara always seems to be in the right place and puts the ball in the back of the net. In addition, every goal that Kara has scored has been assisted. He's always in the right place.

The way Kara has gotten it done in such a short time is the most impressive part of his season. For reference, 30 players have scored at least 7 goals. Of those 30 players, Kara has played the 10th least minutes (1,304). In addition, the Austrian has been one of the most clinical strikers in the league. Of those same 30 players with 7 goals, Kara has the 5th least shots (33).

With Kara scoring at ease, and lethal creators like Mauricio Pereyra, Alexandre Pato and Facundo Torres setting him up, as well as the entrance of Nicholas Gioacchini, Orlando City's attack is only going to get better as time goes on. Orlando sits jut five points behind Montreal, and with a few good performances, the team could find themselves in third by the time the season is over.
