Key Players
ST Karol Swiderski
Charlotte's first DP and top striker had a great run of games a few weeks ago and still looks like a top-class MLS forward when fully healthy. If he gets an inch of space he can get a quality shot off. In the box he reminds me a lot of a younger Josef Martinez.
CM Jordy Alcivar
The Ecuadorian midfielder is another player technically listed as a DP (though he'll be bought down) and he's produced. He drives the play forward and makes things happen for Charlotte on both ends. He scored a goal of the week with an olimpico against Atlanta.
CM Ben Bender
Charlotte got value out of the SuperDraft with first-overall pick Ben Bender from Maryland. The midfielder/winger has a ton of skill for a young player and is one of the more creative players on this team.
GK Kristijan Kahlina
Charlotte decided to buy a goalkeeper from abroad, often a risky decision, but the Croatian shot-stopper is elite at what he does. He has some of the best shot-stopping analytics in the league and can make unreal passes in possession.
