Charlotte is off to arguably the worst start in MLS. The Crown is one of three teams with zero points through three weeks and has the worst goal differential in the league at minus six. All three losses came against non-playoff teams a year ago, including expansion side St. Louis CITY SC.

Nothing has gone right for Charlotte outside of one goal from new Designated Player Enzo Copetti in week two. The tactics are a mess and nothing is working. This was supposed to be a big year two for head coach Christian Lattanzio and Charlotte, but so far things are off to a rocky start.
