Players to Watch

Mateusz Klich

Klich was DC's biggest signing of the offseason. The Polish international midfielder spent several seasons with Leeds United in the Premier League and arrived in MLS as a Designated Player. He scored on his debut and is the most talented player on the DC United roster.

Christian Benteke

Benteke is another former Premier League star, and he joined the club last summer. The former Belgian international forward also scored against Toronto and is expected to be one of the most productive strikers in the league.

Russell Canouse

Canouse was one of the best defensive midfielders in MLS at one point in time, but he struggled for form in the last few seasons. He's off to a strong start this year and could be a game-controlling presence.
