League Standing: 11th in Eastern Conference

It's been a mediocre start to life this season for Wayne Rooney's DC United. The Red and Black are coming off of a win in Montreal, but that's nothing to write home about this year. DC currently sit below the expanded playoff line in 11th place and don't exactly look like Cup contenders.

With that being said, things are better this year than last seasons's Wooden Spoon campaign. There's clear talent on the field and occassionally some fun soccer being played.

DC hosted Orlando City earlier this season. The Lions took a 1-0 lead late into the second half before United midfielder Chris Durkin picked a corner from outside the box to level the score and steal a point from Orlando.
