Antonio Carlos was on pace for a Best XI caliber season through six games. The Brazilian center half was titanic for the Lions' defense, cleaning up every loose ball in the air. He earned several accolades and showed himself as a huge leader for the club.

And then the injury changed everything.

Antonio Carlos is out for a next few months with a serious hamstring injury. He should be back for the last chunk of the season, but it's a devastating blow for both him and the Lions.
