Orlando City announced its preseason schedule Thursday as the start of the 2023 Major League Soccer draws closer. The Lions will play six official scrimmages starting in February, with the first official training session of the season set for Jan. 9.
The first five scrimmages are all closed door, but the final warmup match against the New England Revolution on Feb. 18 will be open to the public at Exploria Stadium. Orlando is currently scheduled to face three MLS opponents and two local college teams as part of the preseason slate, though one friendly is yet to be filled.
The regular season begins on Feb. 25 when Orlando hosts the New York Red Bulls. That game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m.
