The former second-round draft pick has carved out a spot on this team and will once again be a reliable bench option for the Lions. With the arrival of Araújo and presumably less national team duty for Mendez, DeZart likely won't feature as much as he did last year, but the Jamaican still has a role with this team. He's in the final year of his contract, so this is a big prove it year for him, as well.
