4/22 vs. LAFC, 7:30 p.m. ESPN+
Orlando City opens the April slate with just the fourth ever meeting with Los Angeles FC, the most recent of which being a penalty shootout victory for the Lions in the MLS is Back tournament. LAFC have undergone tons of change the last year, with Bob Bradley, Diego Rossi and Mark Anthony-Kaye all leaving the club, but new faces are aplenty. USMNT midfielder Kellyn Acosta and Canadian international goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau are in to bolster the LA defense, while Colombian striker Christian Arango was an immediate superstar after arriving halfway through 2021. Oh, and Carlos Vela is still here. If first-time manager Steve Cherundolo can put the pieces together, LA will be an elite team in MLS.
