Orlando City Schedule Breakdown: August

8/28 vs. NYCFC, 7:30 p.m. FS1

Orlando's expansion sisters are now champions of Major League Soccer. The Pigeons of New York City FC went on an impressive playoff run and hoisted MLS Cup following a penalty shootout in Portland (so I guess they figures out playoff shootouts, eh?). Because of that expansion link and so many memorable moments, this will always be a rivalry game to me, but I understand that's far from a consensus opinion in either fanbase.

It's tough to say how NYCFC will look come late August. With a legitimate shot at the Concacaf Champions League, league play may be on the back burner, plus plenty of sales could still hit this roster before season's end.
