Orlando City Schedule Breakdown: September/October

10/9 vs. Columbus Crew, TBD ESPN+

The 2021 regular season concludes with a decision day home match against the Columbus Crew. The Crew struggles last year, primarily with injuries, but will likely be a contender in the East this year. Lucas Zelarayan is an MVP-caliber talent and a supporting cast of Kevin Molino, Gyasi Zardes, Alexandru Matan and Luis Diaz should be fairly productive. The midfield core, anchored by Darlington Nagbe and Arthur, is incredibly strong, as is the backline. Columbus's spine is formidable and Zelarayan gives them a gamebreaking match winner. Don't forget this team is not far removed from an MLS Cup.
