Orlando City Three Stars: Charlotte FC
1. Duncan McGuire
McGuire won the club's Man of the Match award Saturday, and the rookie gets the honor from me as well. I've been extremely impressed with the Creighton product's holistic game through his young career, and Saturday was another strong outing.
The reigning Hermann trophy winner provided the assist on Ojeda's goal and was probably Orlando's best attacker before coming off in the 67th minute. McGuire's extremely high work rate --- both as an off-ball runner and front-line presser --- is such a weapon for Orlando City and a unique x-factor in the final third.
Ercan Kara scored in the midweek, but he picked up a small knock in training. Ramiro Enrique has flashed potential, but he hasn't made a massive impact yet. Jack Lynn also made an appearance Saturday and nearly scored late.
The striker room is getting crowded and everybody is playing fairly well so far. McGuire might be the best early on, though.
