Orlando City Three Stars: FC Cincinnati
1. Wilder Cartagena
This wasn't a pretty game plan for Orlando. The Lions didn't look to open up Cincinnati and attack with the ball. Orlando wanted to sit deep, absorb pressure, be physical and hit in transition. Cartagena set the tone for that style and had one of his best games in purple.
The Peruvian was a menace defensively. He sniffed out chances and brought tons of physicality in midfield. Cartagena was surprisingly deft with the ball, even if he wasn't an elite ball progressor or creator. Orlando needed a pitbull Saturday, and Cartagena delivered.
