The Orlando Pride announced the start of training camp will be Monday Jan. 31, the club announced Friday. The club has not announced its full preseason schedule, and there is no NWSL schedule release yet.

This is the first training camp under the helm of head coach Seb Hines. The former Orlando City center back stepped into the interim role after head coach Amanda Cromwell was fired in a national scandal revolving around "retaliatory conduct" surrounding misconduct allegations.

Hines stepped up admirably in his first season in charge, leading the team on a seven-match unbeaten run during the summer. Despite not making the playoffs, it was a promising start for the 34-year-old coach.

Orlando will also see the return of Brazilian superstar Marta. The 36-year-old attacker signed a two-year extension to stay with the Pride after missing all of last season with an ACL injury. She's joined by fellow Brazilian international Adriana who was signed by the Pride this offseason.

The Pride will be without two of its key veterans from the past few seasons. Goalkeeper Erin McLeod and midfielder Gunny Jónsdóttir retired from the NWSL this offseason after the two were married in early January. The pair will be leaving the Pride and move to Jónsdóttir's home country Iceland.
