5. 2018: 1-1 vs. DC United

I'm gonna be honest with you guys, I don't remember a thing about this game. After some research, I can see that good lord that 2018 roster was just atrocious. Frankly, the DC team on the other side was almost just as bad, at least on that day. Joe Bendik had a classic day, saving an early penalty and making two more saves. PC got himself a straight red card in the 41' minute, putting the Lions down a man most of the game. Stefano Pinho broke out the late heroics with a goal in the 90+3' minute to save the result for Orlando. This is not the last late goal we'll be seeing on this list.

4. 2019: 2-2 vs. New York City FC

The third and least memorable season opener against NYCFC came in 2019 and was still a fun way to open the year. By far the most memorable thing about this game was the debut of Nani, who appeared as a second half substitute. New York took a two goal lead in the first half, but Orlando found a counterpunch in the second. Chris Mueller scored off a wonky free kick that snuck past Sean Johnson and Tesho Akindele equalized off a Dom Dwyer assist in the 75' minute.
