Right back is a major question mark for Orlando City heading into the season. The club traded away incumbent starter Ruan to DC United, and has yet to sign another right back in his place. Orlando currently has longtime squad player Kyle Smith and Homegrowns Michael Halliday and Alex Freeman as options at right back.

It's fair to assume the club wants to rely on Halliday --- or potentially even Freeman --- at right back. Orlando has struggled to integrate Homegrown signings into the first team in its history, and this could be a real opportunity to let the kids be real players.

If the club doesn't have faith in the young players, though, Orlando could bring in a cheap, veteran defender alongside Smith to handle the bulk of the the minutes.
