Three Stars: Charlotte FC

1. Ruan

When I'm critical of a player, it sucks. I want to be as positive as possible and I generally like everyone. So when I had to be super critical of Ruan this season, it sucked, making his breakout performance against Charlotte all the better.

Orlando's much maligned right back scored the opening goal and created the second, while also providing much sharper play on both sides of the ball. This was the game we needed from Ruan, and he delivered.
