1. César Araújo

The Uruguayan central midfielder is turning heads in MLS and there's very good reason for that level of adoration. Araújo completed 80% of his passes, won 60% of his duels and added a key pass and several ball recoveries. He's received praise from national media types and Orlando diehards alike, and if he continues to play and develop like this, who knows how high his ceiling could rise this season. For Orlando, he's providing a badly needed presence in central midfield who's both strong defensively and very good on the ball. I'd argue he's already a better all-around midfielder than Sebas Mendez, and that's not even a slight on the Ecuadorian.
