1. Antonio Carlos
Could it be anyone else? The Brazilian center back dominated defensively for Orlando City, especially in the second half, constantly repelling balls into the box and snuffing out as many Galaxy chances as possible. It was a Defensive Player of the Year-caliber performance from AC and helped secure the Lion's third shutout in four games. Antonio Carlos cleared the ball 14 times in the game and it felt like even more. Not only was he making play after play, the passion he showed all match long was palpable. His ability and energy make him such an irreplaceable member of the squad.
