The recap structure is not meant to withstand this many poor performances. The three star structure I've adopted to review games is meant to shine a positive light on quality showings from star players, but when the team is playing like garbage, that's a very difficult task.

Orlando City entered yet another playoff race six-pointer with a chance to right the ship and figure out its poor league form, this time against the New England Revolution. With new tactical wrinkles in place, this should've been a turning point for the season. Instead, Orlando got embarrassed at home.

The 3-0 loss was a deflating and frustrating performance. Orlando City was incapable of breaking down New England's low block defense and gave up easy opportunities in transition when Mauricio Pereyra failed to track runners into the box.

I'm committed to this three star structure, though, so let's try and find anything resembling a positive from such a dismal and disappointing display of football.
