Can we talk about Mauricio Pereyra's goal, I've been dying to talk about Mauricio Pereyra's goal. The captain sprayed an absolute peach of a pass over the top to break in behind the Red Bull backline before making a lung bursting run in the box to get on the end of a silky cut back. It was my favorite goal on the night and arguably Pereyra's best moment in purple.

Orlando's skipper played deeper in midfield this game and that shift helped the Lions control the ball better and use their pace to break the backline. It was a great tactical shift by Oscar Pareja and something we should see, at least as an experiment, in MLS play down the stretch.
