Another game, another gut punch for Orlando City. The Lions played host to the conference-leading Philadelphia Union, but failed to muster enough offense to break through one of the best defenses in MLS. A first half goal from Philly's Daniel Gazdag was enough for the Union to hold on and break a three game unbeaten run for Orlando.
It's always hard to find positives in frustrating results, but a 1-0 defeat to a Supporters' Shield contender isn't a bad result, and several Lions showed promise and quality on the night. Here are our standout performers from Saturday night's loss to the Union.
