Three Stars: Portland Timbers

2. Robin Jansson

I've been quick to criticize Robin Jansson over the last two seasons, but the Swede was fantastic in Portland. Much like Antonio Carlos the week before, Jansson cleaned up everything in the box and won all four of his tackles.

His distribution was accurate as well, with his long balls providing a unique element to Orlando's attack in possession. Through five games, both Antonio Carlos and Robin Jansson are putting in fantastic displays and form arguably the best center back pairing in MLS.
