Araújo is built for games like these. The young Uruguayan midfielder is gritty beyond his years, and he looked right at home in the pressure cooker of El Volcán.

He was his usual self defensively. Araújo provided cover and big, timely defensive plays to disrupt play, and he brought his cheeky gamesmanship when the time called. He even popped up in a few offensive moments, including a skillful dribble into the box.

Araújo is going to play a lot of Champions League games on this continent or another, and he looked built for big moments like this.
