Kara has been much maligned and cast aside after an inauspicious start to the season. The Austrian came on in the second half, and he delivered in a massive way Wednesday night. He scored his first goal of the season in spectacular fasion.

In addition to the goal, Kara looked poised and in command around the penalty box. This is the type of performance that will keep the Designated Player in the lineup.
