1. Promising Young Players

Orlando City's recruitment team hit it out of the park last offseason. In signing Facundo Torres and Cesar Araujo from the Uruguayan Primera Division, the Lions added two of the best young players in Major League Soccer and arguably the top two players on Orlando's team.

The pair of young Uruguayan stars have huge ceilings and probably aren't long for American shores, but for as long as they put on the purple shirt, Orlando has a pair of extremely dynamic young players capable of leading a title challenge.

Further down the roster, there's other promising young pieces that could play a role. Gaston Gonzalez missed the entire season with a serious knee injury, but could be a valuable piece in the attacking rotation next year. Homegrown players Thomas Williams and Michael Halliday didn't play a ton this year, but both have plenty of promise as professional players.
