2. Ercan Kara in Year Two

Many people are punting on Kara after just one season, especially The Athletic's Paul Tenorio and Sam Stejskal on their podcast Allocation Disorder, but the Austrian showed plenty of flashes that he can produce at this level.

Kara had a perfectly fine debut season, scoring double-digit goals and a strike rate of 0.56 goals per 90 minutes. Those are solid numbers for a Designated Player, especially a player coming off no offseason adjusting to a new league and country.

If Kara has even modest growth from year one to two, Orlando goes from a decent No. 9 to an elite one, and that is absolutely possible from a second year DP.
