Two Lessons from Orlando City's Win over Columbus

Orlando City has made drama a habit. After a succession of late-game winners, the team moved into good position to secure a postseason birth, and possibly even a game at home (for better or worse).

If single-game heart stoppers weren't enough, Orlando made the season itself dramatic. The squad moved itself out of a playoff spot and then decided to take its season down to final few minutes of its final game, taking an 85th-minute penalty kick to get the win over Columbus before running through a bizarre passage of stoppage time before finally celebrating.

The game might have had its share of memorable moments (the substitution issue being the most notable), but it also gave fans some insight into bigger picture topics that might affect the Lions' run in the playoffs. With that in mind, here are three lessons we learned on Decision Day.
