Orlando City B vs Harrisburg City Islanders Preview

Orlando City B (1-3-1, 4 points) will try to build off of the momentum from Friday’s 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, when they take on the Harrisburg City Islanders (1-3-0, 3 points) at Metro Bank Park on Monday night. The match is set to kick off at 7:00 pm ET and can be watched live on USL’s YouTube channel.

After a tumultuous first 4 games which saw the team concede 7 times and earn 3 red cards, Tyler Turner netted an impressive brace to lead OCB to its first victory of the season and also get a stretch of 5 matches in 16 days off to the best start possible.

“…there are no easy games in this league, so we will approach it exactly the same way as what we did on Friday” [against Pittsburgh]

“The focus on the past two days has been on recovery, getting the guys’ bodies recovered, refueled and ready to go tomorrow because it’s a quick turnaround, obviously we only had two days between the games…” OCB Head Coach Anthony Pulis said over the weekend. Pulis went on to say that “…there are no easy games in this league, so we will approach it exactly the same way as what we did on Friday [against Pittsburgh] and hopefully the guys can put in a performance just as good, if not better, than the other night.”

The Lions should know what to expect from the opposition tonight, as they faced off just nine days ago at Titan Soccer Complex. Harrisburg came out of that hotly contested match with a 1-0 win, their only win of the young season.

Harrisburg is coming off of a deflating loss to Louisville City FC, in which they fought back from a 2-0 deficit to equalize in the 88th minute, just to have Louisville grab a winner in stoppage time.
